Robot is so surprised that he starts rolling fast, fast, fast in the streets of this big city. The rain is so strong that he doesn't know where he goes. Slowly the rain stops, the wind gets milder. Robot stops and looks around. Everything seems wierd. Things don't move as they are normally supposed to move. Colors are transformed. Sounds are not those expected in a big city.

Without telling it explicitely, the drawings make it clear that, because of the lightning strike, his 5 senses are all messed up.
So his perception of the world is altered.
